FOR THREE-YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD. For horses interested in consideration for an invitation to the 2026 Bowling Green Gold Cup please contact Kentucky Downs Racing Officials or Adrian Beaumont (International Racing Bureau - IRB) or email request to StakeInvites@kentuckydowns.com on or before Thursday, August 20th. The Kentucky Downs Selection Committee will post the first list of invitees, including up to four (4) also-eligibles on Saturday, August 22nd. Horses that have been invited into the body of the race must confirm their acceptance (with acceptance payment of $2,500 USD) by 1:00 PM (CDT) on Thursday, August 21st. Invitations not accepted by the deadline will be revoked and the first horse on the also-eligible list shall be invited. This processmay continue until closing time of entries on Thursday, August 27th. Kentucky Downs may invite additional horses, if needed, up until closing time of entries. This race will be limited to twelve starters with four also-eligibles. An entry (Rail at 50 feet).
